Wisconsin Half-Marathon

This year we kicked-off our running season with the Wisconsin Half-Marathon in Kenosha.  We’ve done a wide variety of races in Chicago, and wanted to try something new and not too far from home.  As always, I managed to convince the hubby to sign up for this race. We started our training 4 weeks prior to the race, and semi-trained for it. We basically did our weekly long runs up to mile 10 and did a few 3 milers during the week.  This training was the bare minimum and I definitely felt it.  Overall, it was a great race.
