The hubby and I contemplated where we wanted to go for Christmas break and pondered the idea of visiting Spain, but where??? After having a conversation with one of my graduate students, she recommended Sevilla. She lived there for a few years and she described Seville as a cozy town with a city feel. She mentioned that it was less “touristy” and a great place to unwind and enjoy great food. We were in!
We spent about 4 days in Sevilla and simply spent most of our time in the downtown area exploring restaurants, eating tapas, drinking wine and enjoying the beautiful architecture that decorated their streets. This experience was even more illuminating since it was during Christmas break. We also took some side tips to Cordoba and Toledo.
